FE Pro Fit Bellhousings

Remember the Ford FE engines from years past? Well they're back and they've got an attitude. Recent developments in blocks and cylinder heads have reinvigorated this old workhorse and to coincide with these developments, Performance Automatic, Inc. has announced the release of their long awaited SFI 30.1 Certified Bellhousing for 390 through 428 FE engines. Cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and machined from the original factory blueprint, proper alignment and block spacing is assured. This new bellhousing will mate the FE engine to any of the lightweight C4 transmission housings from 1965 on. Stock flexplate and starter locations are retained. Performance Automatic has also included this bellhousing in their "Pro Fit" System. This will enable customers to install this bell onto a Powerglide or Turbo 400 Transmission! Future plans will allow a direct bolt up to the Ford AOD Transmission.
