New Product - 5R55 Transmission

Need a little giddy up in your pony? Performance Automatic has the answer for owners of 2005 and up Mustangs. A remanufactured 5R55 automatic transmission is now available as a direct replacement for these late model vehicles. But not just rebuilt these transmissions feature high performance clutches and bands specifically designed for aggressive driving habits. Comfortable shifts around town but heavier throttle brings this transmission to its full potential. Redesigned pressure control circuits provide the best of both worlds. Dyno tested before leaving our facility these units are ready to go. An optional deep aluminum pan and filler tube is also available, a great addition that makes checking the fluid level easy.
